The notions "Einmachen - Einhäkeln - Einstauben" (to confect - to crochet- to dust in) are sor of a starting point. At the same time, they represent working fields, describe an activity - also in an artistic context. In this exhibition however, dust will reveal its sculptural dimension...

Christel Koerdt is building plaster moulds representing oversized crochet signs (a sign system for the definition of mesh forms and formations) and filling up whole walls with them - crochet language beyond mesh size.

   
   
 

Gisela Brinkmann defines herself as a 'concrete artist' and is working on her "Grauwerk" (grey-work) for years now: Original color mixtures are "confected", documented and archived, creating a systematic color-analysis.

   
 
Mira Schumann
is collecting the content of vacuum cleaner bags as the basis of one of her working fields.
