w koch (D) & Shepard Nzudzo (Botswana)
The cooperation of hans w koch (composer an
sound artist) and Shepherd Nduzo (Sculptor)
has resulted in a short video showing the two
artists in a conversation. As each is speaking
in his mother language - hans in German and
Shepherd in Shona - which the other one is not
able to understand, the content of the dialogue
has been agreed upon in English prior to the
recording.
Peter
Regli (CH) & Hans Peter Frehner (CH) The work of the swiss duo Hans Peter Frehner
and Peter Regli took place on the opening evening
of ao,5. Relicts of the performance and a documentiation
video that shows the unexpected course of the
action can be found on the attic. The procedure
of the event is only the first step in a developing
cycle though. It has been recorded to be arranged
into a form which can be performed by a clasic
music ensemble which then will, with its own instrumentarium,
repoduce an acustic image of the original event. www.realityhacking.ch
Juha Valkeapää(
FIN) & Peter Morrens
(B)
Juha Valkeapää and Peter Morrens deal
with break throughs and outlooks. They understand
their first cooperation in a pragmatic way as
a sequence of beginnings. Among others, Juha's
voice is imitating the Flemish mother language
of his cooperation partner Peter Morrens. Furthermore,
the installation gives kindly authorized insight
into the living and working situation of an
artist of the Kuenstlerhaus. www.kolumbus.fi/juha.valkeapaa
Marcelo Aguirre (Argentinien)
& Karen Schepers (D) The room
of the duo Karen Scheper and Marcelo Aguirre
shows a mixture of conceptuated, arranged and
parallel evolving works. The room contains a
network of various esthetic and chronologically
shifted events: Relicts of the opening performance
- the floor drawing and the drums - are placed
amidst a wall drawing developped during the
working period of the project and the sound
installation consisting of five independent
tracks.
