Application for membership

A membership in the Kuenstlerhaus Dortmund includes a studio in the building and the willingness for volunteering to support the activities of the institution, e.g. the preparation, organization and supervision of exhibitions.

An application for a membership is possible at any time. In the case of no studio vacancy, it will be put on a waiting list until studio space will be available.

Membership includes optional use of all facilities of the house as there are a variety of technical and electronical tools, the wood workshop, a computer place for video cutting, a DSL flatrate etc. and insight and participation in our information and cooperation network.

Application for an exhibition participation

Exhibition programming for next year is started in summer this year.

Applications, that are submitted by the end of July, will be considered.

Attention: Please keep in mind that the Kuenstlerhaus is generally not doing solo exhibitions but conceptual group shows.
Applications not following the exhibition concepts of the following year will be returned by mail only if you include a self-addressed, sufficiently stamped envelope. Otherwise the KH-team decides if they are kept in our archive.

Application for a Summer Residency

Residency period: 6 to 8 weeks from June to August
Deadline: February 28.
